If I was in control and if I were to do black uniforms this is what I would do. As a tribute to all military around Acadiana and our freedom to keep Acadiana Free and Safe as tribute to our military and a tribute to Acadiana for their support of Ragin Cajun Athletics!!! I like the Acadiana flag on shoulder. Helmet and pants not so much.

Yikes

I thought it be interesting spelling Cajuns on the pants!! If we going to go all in let's go all in! Even did a white version! Only Cajuns on the right side not both sides. Only have to deal with the Cajuns for half the game, rest of the half can only see the white pants lol.

I do admit Cajuns on the pants leg is a little much

LOUISIANA on the jersey. Cajuns or Ragin Cajuns on the helmet, preferably in script rather than block. Louisiana on the helmet is too long and fits perfectly on the jersey. We need to highlight LOUISIANA, BUT we have to connect Cajuns/Ragin Cajuns with LOUISIANA. One without the other doesn't clarify for the public who we are.

Granted we need to focus marketing on the whole Acadiana parishes; however, because we are The University of Louisiana and not the University of Acadiana, we shouldn't define ourselves with the Acadiana logo, nor should our band be called the Pride of Acadiana. It should be the PRIDE OF LOUISIANA. Why further muddle our identity with Acadiana? Louisiana and Cajuns/Ragin Cajuns ONLY.

Lastly, we need a mascot (not to be confused with our Ragin Cajuns moniker). That mascot should be the albino gator. With gators in the on-campus swamp and a football stadium called The Swamp, what better tradition to expand than that? And what better mascot than the one pictured here. Time to bring all of this together in a complete package!

The mindset of bringing back USL gear set the university back 20 years. Would love to hear your side on that.
