Re: The Field of 64 and The Bubble
Tickets may be challenging for this regional. Three of the top 10 schools in baseball attendance are in this regional ... with Texas and Louisiana fans having short trips.

This is such a problem with my schedule. Was hoping for the 12:00 game.

4 SBC teams!
Big 10 must be unhappy in spite of stats.

They were given the gift of Indiana ... they had better be happy. The Big Ten had nobody else on the bubble.

Re: The Field of 64 and The Bubble
Advantages of 1 seed A&M gets to throw their 5th best pitcher against Grambling and have all their pitching ready for next games. We have to grind it against Texas. I wonder who we start against Texas Morgan?

Starting with the teams that are absolutely secure (Top 32).
Tennessee, Kentucky, North Carolina, Texas A&M, Arkansas, Clemson, Oklahoma, Georgia, Florida State, Oklahoma State, NC State, Virginia, UC Santa Barbara, Arizona, Oregon State, East Carolina, Duke, Indiana State, Mississippi State, Dallas Baptist, Wake Forest, LSU, San Diego, Vanderbilt, South Carolina, Southern Mississippi, UC Irvine, Nebraska, Louisiana Tech, Louisiana, West Virginia, Alabama.
Seeds may change slightly (Ex. Texas is a #2 instead of a #3, over Alabama), but these teams are secure.
I had 15 of the 16 #2 seeds projected. My miss was West Virginia, which was assigned a #3 seed ... while UNCW was awarded a #2 seed.
D1Baseball had 14/16, missing Alabama and UNCW (projected Texas and West Virginia)
BA had 14/16, missing Alabama and UNCW (projected Texas and West Virginia).
I find it very interesting that the committee saw fit to award #34 UNCW a #2 seed ... after finishing 2nd in the Coastal Athletic conference (winning the tournament over Charleston) ... while conference champion #42 Charleston is not awarded a bid to the tournament.

Was Lamar close? I know they had a road sweep and OU and a gaudy record.

We are a low 2 seed playing High 3. Don’t see how we got the shaft.
Texas is worse that last year and we are better. I expect a W for the good guys

Lamar didn’t get in? That’s brutal. They are legit.

They were down the list several spots ... definitely not one of the next four.

Kyle Peterson mentioned Duke and Lamar as head scratchers.

I hope you are right but I would rather play Wofford than Texas who went 20-10 in conference and has the 29 hardest schedule compared to Wofford at 119. It is a tough matchup but it is a regional no easy games.
