well I have to say we were in town for the day and saw some usm fans out at the farmers market and later at festival international, also saw more UL gear at festival than I have ever seen and only one person in puke purple

surely plenty of the 4,000 at the Cajun’s game went to the festival after

Certainly. And if this was the final game of the series ... or an elimination game of some sort, I probably would have done the same thing. But the Cajuns did not have the lead, he threw the night before (and was hot in the pen for a while Friday night), and there was a Sunday game looming. I would rather have a more rested LP for Sunday and rely on our other talent that is available to finish Saturday ... especially when we have seen the outcome of this in the past. I hope that we make adjustments going forward by considering the data.

After facing 5 batters on Friday night (1.0 inning, 21 pitches) and getting tagged with the loss, Kros Sivley is getting the start today. I would imagine that JB Middleton will be backing him up at some point today ... along with Adams and Best. Southern Miss has the arms to win this ... the Cajuns will need to play a complete game today to take the series.

Cajuns need to come out and put pressure on the USM pitchers early and often. I don’t want to have to rely on late-game heroics today. Let’s do this, Cajuns!

I noticed that as well downtown. Also heard a few random people talking about the baseball series. It was great to see.
