They add zero to the conference, and would require growing to 16. Can’t agree with you on LoTec. Regardless the SBC isn’t adding a third Louisiana school period. If they do it will be ECU, and possibly Texas or Florida.

Louisiana Tech is not a friend to UL in the same vein with McNesse. Both have ACTIVELY tried to hold UL back academically and athletically.

If UL ever joins a conference with either or both, UL deserves every bit of backstabbing that comes their way.

I know it’s common to rewrite history today, but erasing history doesn’t mean it never happened.

I’m just thankful the vast majority of their fans don’t have a clue to what R-1 means in the overall scheme of things.

That is exactly the point ! I get it I really do. I just think when it comes to fans, and what people want to see they want to see that. It would be instantly a hate hate rivalry and all for the right reasons.

Damn right they are not our friends that is what makes it interesting. Yes they would back stab us in a heart beat they would do it to anyone. We are not here to be friends we are here to create fan interest and to play a sport .

If we want to expand, the school in ruston is not on the radar. The goal will be to become, without a doubt, THE second tier league to the SEC.

The Big10 is going to 18. The SEC is going to 18. The Big12 is going to at least 18. We should go to 18. Leave no doubt.

Go after SMU, Tulane, Memphis and East Carolina.

That would solidify this conference forever.
