This is not correct. SOS is simply 2 parts OWP and 1 part OOWP. There is no additional "layer". SOS is the RPI sans the WP component.

Re: Eric Lopez Regional SB Predictions.
Oregon loses series. Auburn, Florida lose all is good news for Louisiana chances of hosting.

Not sure how much it helps but it sure doesn’t hurt. Indiana keeps winning and Rutgers beat 18 ranked Northwestern. First ranked win in a decade.

I think it can be done on the road or at home. I don't like that we are playing a 4 game below 500 team for the last three games of the year. 3 wins are nice but it will not move the needle upwards.
This is my favorite Glasco team so far. These girls have heart and talent. Sure hope they find a way to the supers and beyond. GEAUX CAJUNS

Based on selection history I'm pretty confident that we host. And I like the committee makeup currently in place right now (link below). Included in the committee is our own Jessica Leger; and no I haven't forgotten about "the farmer on the committee".....

Jessica being on the committee will have zero bearing on the Cajuns and if they host or not.

Correct. She has to leave the room when Louisiana is discussed I think.
Re: Eric Lopez Regional SB Predictions.
Yes, but they have to look her in the eyes when she comes back in the room. If you think having her on the committee does not help some, you would be fooling yourself.

I'm not saying she will be there arguing the point for us and you know that. I've followed softball/baseball selections since the mid 80's and understand exactly how it works. If you don't think the fact that she is on the committee doesn't give pause to other members then you aren't understanding the human condition very well. People aren't machines and they spend a lot of time discussing these selections long before next Sunday. It has nothing to do with undue influence or unethical behavior. Relationships matter and that is human nature.

I've never seen any official documents on this issue but I believe you are correct as published accounts for selection committees indicate that this is the usual protocal.
