Re: Attendance Predictions - Troy 11.5.22
Poor home game attendance is directly attributed to how much this UL Administration puts into it.
I guarantee you that the general public relates this teams performance (bad offense mainly) to a new, unknown coaching staff struggling trying to figure out how to beat Rice and ULM. It's a poor home schedule. Cajun Field is essentially a stadium dump in todays college football. No effort to promote games by UL. It's very predictable to have terrible attendance.

Jay is too busy kissing the administrations back end. It's huge how much it matters, but only if you have a good team. A good team + a good schedule + a nice stadium will draw people.
Re: Attendance Predictions - Troy 11.5.22
Any complaints about the home schedule should be reserved for no conference games. We are playing conference opponents so no excuse.

Sure, the way it lined up this year, the conference didn't do us any favors, but we can bring in other OOC teams to Cajun field that would spice up the schedule every year.

Not sure what P5 school would want to play in front of 4500 people.

This place is like a broken record.

Yeah, I don't think that's a deciding factor for the P5.
I've seen Alabama, Texas A&M, Kansas St. and Oklahoma St. at Cajun Field. For all those games, we didn't have as near of a team like we did the past 2 years. It all has to come together. It can be done if they really want it done.
