For an 8-1 team. Just pathetic. Aside from that, no words.

Tonight was embarrassing on both fronts. Team and local fans (that were not in attendance).
I sure hope this lights a fire under their asses for the rest of the season.

If they can’t capitalize on success. Today was a travesty. Seriously. Nothing will change. We know what we have at the admin level. We know what this community is. It’s sad right now.
Re: Cajuns vs South Al attendance predictions
Community was watching to see if we actually took advantage of the glimmer of hope we had. We ____ the bed.
I'll bet anyone willing to put up cash that we average the same 16k per game next year

right now I see our fan base for football in the following numbers:
5,000 will always attend every game unless they are in the hospital or bed ridden
8,000 that will make substantially all games (80% attendance), rain or shine but will have an occasional family conflict events, opening day of some hunting season, etc. for which they may miss
6400 = 11,400
2,000 Season ticket holders not in either group (60% attendance) these purchase season tickets to support Louisiana but not necessarily as much to actually attend most games
1200 =13,600
20,000 Alumni who do not have season tickets but will attend a couple games a year if there is no family conflict, hunting conflict, conflict with an LSU game whether they want to attend the LSU game or even watch it on TV if there is a time conflict ( 15% attendance)
3,000 = 16600
others not in any of these categories 1,400
1400 = 18,000
Folks, that is our fan base whether we like it or not . . . we have seen that winning has boosted that number a couple of thousand, but it is what it is and really with minor anomalies has always reverted back to somewhere around that attendance number
The new stadium may move the needle somewhat but don't expect it to be a monumental movement.
If all that is proposed here to enhance the game day experience was put in place, that may move the needle somewhat, but again, don't expect the movement to be monumental.
If we do not get a somewhat robust NIL program in place, winning will continue to be more difficult and that will definitely reduce from the results we are having this year because of the reduction in talent that we are able to attract.
apply these factors to every game and you will be close with your prediction . . . The Bird
Re: Cajuns vs South Al attendance predictions
Not sure how many tickets were sold to people who didn’t show up last week due to the rain threat, but there were more in the stadium last night.
The showing was still terrible. We’ll probably finish bottom 1/4th of the league in attendance in a year where you are #1 in the conference.
We invite people. We say “come check out the Cajuns.” They have not come this year. Not 1. I know long time Cajun fans that have not shown up.
We show up, young kids in tow. It’s not easy, but we do it nearly every game.
Acadiana, you need to do better. Martin Hall, you need to make a freaking effort to market athletics. You’re not going to do it, though. You just won’t. You’ll just not acknowledge the issues with football. You clearly don’t care about basketball. You’ll be complacently satisfied with baseball and softball. You’ll see a modest boost with the stadium renovations next year, then it will go back to normal. The same 14-16 k that always show up.

Who wants to show up when the in game experience sucks? With kids, it's expensive...too expensive, unless you want to drop $100 on drinks, popcorn, etc. and miss half the game playing vendor Roundup ..last night, the parachute drop was good, the cell phone black out was cool, but it's boring after the 3rd time...

This one ain’t on Martin hall. The promotion was top notch. The in game was top notch. It was actually a fun time regardless of the outcome. It’s just time to come to grips that Acadiana just doesn’t give a fk about the Cajuns. Period.
