The SBC is obviously ahead of all this as well. SBC will be the top G5 in football and a P5 baseball conference.
Re: The future of college baseball
I think we land on our feet. We will still have one of the top college ballparks in the south, rabid fan support and a strong athletic department. We fixed the video steaming dropped ball. We still need to fix concessions though.

I’m sure the Ark St one you mention got lots of publicity because every player got something. While there might not be much across the board NIL, I’m sure that pretty much all of the major schools have NIL lined up for players that is probably much more than scholarship.
havent they always?
Imagine getting more from NIL than a former number one overall pick may have gotten for his entire nfl career, yay refineryville.
Re: The future of college baseball

How many softball teams even have 27 parking spaces for players?

I can't answer that.. Arkansas is a school with virtually NO softball tradition; they have never been to a WCWS, have produced only one All America player in the history of the program and have won 40 or more games only twice in this century, though this year they will almost certainly reach that number. This NIL deal tells me that they are getting serious about softball. They will soon pass by schools unable or unwilling to invest more money in softball. Look for the Hogs to be a contender in the SEC as often as Alabama, LSU and Florida are.

Is this kicking in immediately or is it for next year? If they get the cars now, isnt there only a couple weeks left in season?
