I didn't see the pitch obviously, but as a batter, you have to know you're not gonna get the benefit of the doubt in that situation.

Everyone is gonna remember that last pitch but that game was lost numerous times well before that AB

For sure

Two of three losses occurred on the Wednesday night of a five game week. In both cases, opponent had not played since Sunday. That may have been a factor in outcomes. I don't think many of those situations remain in the rest of the season.
