No matter who the QB is, there's no reason that Ragas shouldn't get 25+ touches this week. ULMost plays terrible run defense and Ragas has been a monster thru 3 games

We have Ragas for more than 1 year and Elijah Mitchell is very good as well. There is absolutely no reason to punish Ragas with 25 touches.

15 carries for Ragas and 10-15 for Mitchell. That's ideal.

Agree, and he has 29 carries for the season. Unlikely that he gets 25 tomorrow unless the passing game is non existent.

I'm not disagreeing with you. I'm saying that if JD is not healthy (the knee is swollen - easy to re-injure) then I want to see someone else in there. I don't know where that "limited" breaking point is... 92%, 88%, 75%? A healthy and ready to go JD is a given.

And I agree with those thinking about putting a good ground attack in play with Ragas and Mitchell. That's just intelligent planning against ULM. But I wouldn't mind lulling them into a steady ground grind... and then punishing them over the top. Seeing some smart coaching would be good for the soul about now.
