Re: Construction Cam is Up!!!!!!!!
Moving some fairly large sections into staging area to erect later. Looks like support girders for stadium seating.
Can't really see too much of the slab but i estimate concrete tuesday or wednesday of next week.

They had a lot of bodies working in the area of the next pour yesterday. I will say there appears to be a very large number of PVC pipes coming out of the foundation. I'm assuming some are electrical as well as the normal water and DWV services?

I'm also thinking suites, club, and broadcast areas will have air conditioning. Do you think this will be individual room type for each area?

Also looks like they are installing some tension cabling between members. I know I've seen this in warehouse structures but is this typical for this type of structure?

Temporary cables. They will install permanent sway bracing to get the structure square and stable after they get more steel in place. They will go back and tighten things up later. The steel will expand and contract depending on its exposure to the sun. They need to get enough of the structure up to square it up and get enough load on the structure.
I have built several water towers. When we would fill it up the first time it would creek and groan due to the weight of the water. Kind of scary the first time you experience something like that. You would swear the damn thing was coming down on your head. The erection crew would sometime have to come back to tighten things up because the columns would compress about 1/2 to 3/4 inch. Ladders are NEVER attached to the floors because they get crushed.

Thanks for the info.
It looks like now they may be working on extending the currently installed steel structure for the lower levels of the grandstand rather than working on the unpoured section toward right field.

That is correct. The steel erection will never catch up to the concrete work.

White pipe is DWV, grey pipe is electric and communication, and copper is domestic water.
Re: Construction Cam is Up!!!!!!!!
Looks like they are setting up rebar in prep for a pour. I guess this weekend or early next week like HelmutVII said earlier.
