Well, it is obvious that Maggard did not negotiate the latest contract in February based upon the premise that Robe would not leave, has no leverage, so let's continue paying him as little as possible.

What difference does it make if he is seeking other jobs or remaining here. Pay the man what he’s worth. Because he is not a resume sender makes no difference if the employer is worth its salt

What responsibilities does Bab have outside of scheduling and travel? Not meaning to be negative or positive. Just curious bc it seems other coaches cover the rest that I’m aware of.

Well this has come full circle. Several days ago on this thread Robe was being paid too much and was looking toward retirement, now he is not being paid enough. Sounds like he is where he needs to be salary wise. Now all we need is a hitting coach and we are set. I like that no rash moves are being made here. In the end our opinions mean very little, it is the coaches and players thoughts that matter. I think the exit interviews are crucial in seeing where the program needs fine tuning. I would expect some changes in the coming weeks.

Re Deggs, I hear he is a candidate for the Rice gig. So is Lance berkman, one of the Cruz kids, and possibly others.
