For the first three UL football games at Cajun Field, student-athletes representing all Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns NCAA sports will be stationed inside the four entrance gates to Cajun Field to collect donations for the University's Annual Fund. All contributions to that fund made through Sept. 30 will be used to provide financial assistance to students affected by the recent historic flooding.
Seems like usl grads should be able to trade theirs in for a ULL? Even if for a fee?

More Disaster Recovery Centers opens in Acadiana
Sorry to hear you guys had it so rough Boomer. Just to let you know what I've been dealing with, I bought a really sweet place on the Amite river between Port Vincent, & French Settlement about three years ago. Needless to say, we had our own problems being the epicenter of this issue. I had 5 1/2 feet of water in the lower portion of my house. Since my flood insurance doesn't recognize the lower portion of my home as living area, It won't cover most of my damages. I am fortunate that my living area is so high above flood stage.
But others in my subdivision were not so fortunate. The River took out about ten of my neighbors bulkheads, & undermined several of their foundations. it appears FEMA, & the federal government doesn't really care about what happens to this subdivision at this point. The only thing is if they don't address the problems we are having in my part of the river with all haste, it will lead to another major flood event in Baton Rouge in a heck of a lot less than a thousand years.
This flood event is every bit as devastating, & life changing for the Baton Rouge area, & an extremely wide swath westward throughout Acadiana as Katrina was. But I guess we don't rate the help those people got since we're too busy working to dig ourselves out, & not important enough for the mass media to exploit for their own network ratings. It's a sham, but at this point it appears we will not be getting but a big FU from Uncle Sam.
