i would ask the ticket office when you buy your tickets, there may be a section that they will try to put the students in

You guys really aren't paying attention. We're going to the New Orleans bowl. There's no might or maybe about it. We're going. And we've been knowing this for 2 weeks. They just can't make it "official" until the season ends. UL wouldn't move back graduation and start selling tickets if they weren't 110% sure.

That makes sense and is a very good marketing tool! I wonder / expect we will have some NOLABowl rep(s) at the game this weekend!

Got mine pre-ordered!!!! Aggrivating that you can't see where the seating is. I got "best available", but have no idea where they are? Hope I'm early enough to be center of field down low.

If you went through the athletic department, you didn't really pre-order anything. You basically just reserved a spot in the list for them to call you when tickets are available. That's why you couldn't select seats. That'll come later.

So what are everyone's thoughts on this? Is the pre-order worth it? Will the people who preorder get the best seats? What is the difference in pre-ordering and buying them the first day that the tickets go on sale? Thanks

I'm confused... Is the Sun Belt Champion no longer obligated to play in the New Orleans Bowl? If so, its hardly a foregone conclusion that UL will be in the NOB instead of the GoDaddy.com Bowl.

They want us very badly----We are Bowl Eligible----They are not forced to ask the champion !!!! ERGO!!! We are in the NO Bowl!!!!

N.O. Bowl picks who they want out of bowl eligible sun belt teams. They are obligated to take the champ twice out of every four years. This being the second year and they picked the champ last year. This is what I have read on RP and I believe these people know what they are talking about.

Seating of pre-order tickets will be RCAF members, Season ticket holders, Gridiron group, then general admission.

Sweet! So with my RCAF membership and my preorder I should be on or close to the 50! Wish I could get more than 8 though! Thanks for the info!
