Tongue firmly planted in cheek with my comment. And many coaches are disgusted with the state of college athletics; just ask Nick Saban.

Maybe baseball and softball should go back to calling them managers instead of head coach. And how about wearing the uniform in softball as well, like baseball.

Yep. They had a heavy senior class, full on rebuild for them.

we replacing two coaches, catcher, pitcher, 2 infielders and an outfielder

not sure where one draws the line but we have to be pretty close to it

The new coach will probably have to use the portal for the first few years and build his own class with the 2026 kids.

6 of the 9 bats that finished the season as starters have announced they are returning. That tells me the early reports of the demise of Cajuns softball have been greatly exaggerated.
