22,000 if we were 3-0.

Re: CAJUNS vs BUFFALO attendance
I wish our fans would stay the whole game. By the time 4th quarter started there were maybe 4000 people there

Agree, but to keep the casual fan engaged and drive attendance you must:
1. Schedule good/intriguing/known opponents
2. Win games
3. Have a great in stadium & Gameday experience
We CONSTANTLY miss on at least two of the three.
Our scheduling does little to drive interest from the community during a world of ESPN+ and other streaming opportunities for fans to watch more games for lower cost in the comfort of their living room.
We have to figure out a differentiating factor that will get, and keep, the casual Acadiana household interested.

Re: CAJUNS vs BUFFALO attendance
Starts with the OOC scheduling...and while the pre game has gotten better and a bit more exciting, it's not what it could be...
As long as the band continues with "YAM Sunshine" and Jambalaya I can again state there's nothing Ragin or Cajun about pregame...hype video is great BTW!
Speaking of the song Jambalaya being played as a crowd sing along is about as Cajun as the "gumbo" made in Wisconsin....geeze us, it's not that difficult to get it right...

We had a couple more thousand students vs. NWST.

. . . we should have had none . . . zero . . . it’s what was requested and demanded by the powers that be and the resident idiot . . . you know, the one that JMV is always slobbing the knob on . . .

I left early for the first time ever last night. The game was a few minutes shy of 4hrs long. Sorry but that’s just brutal. College football needs to do better.

Re: CAJUNS vs BUFFALO attendance
UL paid Buffalo 300k...Buffalo will pay UL $200k for the return trip...if UL is going in the hole by 100k, then Maggards argument for not playing better competition 2 for 1 is bogus and a smoke screen for having weak OOC scheduling...

While true, this was not a normal situation due to nmsu canceling.

Agree. Games have become brutally slow. Constant TV timeouts. Way too many reviews.

The reviews took way too long. The Sunbelt zebras and replay guy took several minutes to decide each review when some were obvious.

. . . you don’t think they know how long a commercial break is supposed to be . . . and when your time breaks into another, you must complete it . . .

Re: CAJUNS vs BUFFALO attendance
The in game experience is horrible. Loud, crap music (never ends). No fan interaction. Pregame tailgating was light and it was hot. The band, POA and baseball stadium was ok. That store has hardly anything in it. Why can we not promote a festival like experience since everyone is use of that type of environment. Maybe get more people out there. I was charged $60 in fees for 4 tickets, that’s crazy!

. . . with all that enjoyment . . . maybe you ought to consider some alternate entertainment activity . . .

Well, I drove 4 hours and showed up. More than a lot of people. With that attitude we will always be subpar if you cannot face realism. The most interaction was when the band played Sweet Caroline. With all due respect Cajunvic, it’s that condescending attitude of it’s my fault if the game experience is bad is what keeps people away from the stadium and RP.
