You can get a customized 3' x 6' heavy duty polyurathane Cintas type rug made at one of the local janitorial supply places with the SBC decals as is the one in the practice facility for 300 dollars. There is no excuse to not have a banner hanging for last year's team.

Damn it went from $50 to $300? Settle on one price bud.

I made a banner for Rhett Hebert's car wash in Abbeville and it lasted 2 years.
The vinyl letters on a hard substrate will last much longer. Sometimes up to 20 years or more outdoors.
I coached Rhett many moons ago when he was bouncing around between baseball, basketball and tennis. He could have played basketball and tennis at UL if he wanted to, he was that good. Trivia for you. BeauCajun and Rhett are family.

When I don't reply to a post you make trying to contradict me in the future. It doesn't mean you win. It just means the post is too worthless, rhetorical & argumentative to reply to. TIA

Re: Football championship banner/flag
One would think a RCAF staff member with something on the ball could have had the mental fortitude to hold a raffle & send invitations to members as well as former members for 5 dollars a piece to win their own SBC championship banner rug to throw on their floor, or office floor. The winner would also be recognized before a homecoming game & help unveil the official championship banner. A portion of the extra proceeds above the cost of the banners would go to the stadium update project. But what the ____ do I know?

Oh when you talk out of two sides of your mouth and get caught? $50 and $300 is a huge difference.

As dumb as your statement is, It might hold water at this point in the game. But IF we had anybody who gave a rat fart in the administration/RCAF, they could have struck while the iron was hot in January & run the raffle all the way thru August. Then done the ceremony at the homecoming game this past season. IF ONLY

Yes, I was just pointing out that one could be made for $50 but even the expensive ones don't last more than a couple years outdoors in direct sunlight.

Re: Football championship banner/flag
Quality banners cost more than $50.
There are championship banners all over the indoor. There’s also uniform mock-ups, bowl trophies, & all kinds of things representing the history of the program.
Carry on.

Re: Football championship banner/flag
My question is will they put up an Asheville championship banner in our gym before they put up a conference championship banner at Cajun field?

There is no point. Just a summary of what most people on here already know.

All the equivalent of preaching to the choir. Basicly due to insider location.
While a must have, those are not the ones who really need a reminder.
People are looking for banners to generate outside interest.

And outside banners for $50 don't last long.

The recruits that need to see those things are escorted right next to them on their way into the indoor practice area where the banners are hung. Those are the people who need to see them and they do.
