Re: Jay getting ready to talk Tigue
If the project has gone from 10 to 17 million, that's a lot of checkbooks that have to open up.

And 3 million is still not 70% of 10 million.
Re: Jay getting ready to talk Tigue
So what is it that he said that everyone is so up in arms about? Or is he correct... haters gonna hate?
1. The Lemoine websight is misleading. IT IS. I read 2 phases.. between end of 16 and beginning of 17. Others read it to say phase 1 after 16 and phase 2 after 17. Thats what Jay said and I agree
2. The stadium will be completed this year.. maybe not by opening day but our butts will be in the new Tigue.. I believe that
3. No $2 million pledge has been pulled
4. 70% of $10 million has been received. The project is going to be over-run
This is what I heard
Re: Jay getting ready to talk Tigue
I am interested to see what Luke Johnson has to report when the time comes.
Re: Jay getting ready to talk Tigue
Instead of pretending they had 70% of the money, imagine if they would have started some local campaign like "Let's Build Tony's House" or something clever sounding and plastered that all over billboards, emails, commercials, etc.
Actually asking fans and alumni to donate would have been way better than this "silent phase" hogwash.

Only problem is, math..
70% of $10 Mil is not $3 Mil...
So.. idk?

Re: Jay getting ready to talk Tigue
That's why for me "The Voice" of The RaginCajuns will always be Don Allen. Not The Puppet BOP.

I am still waiting for something from the RCAF asking for my donation. I guess the RCAF is in a silent phase for annual fund too.

I can answer this...
$3MM in hand right now
$4MM to be given in $1MM amounts over 4 years ($5MM from Russo @ $1MM/yr for 5 yrs)
$3MM + $4MM = $7MM (70% of $10MM)

$3 million of funds actually collected, not pledged. Money in the account. Russo has not given 5 million yet.

The Russo money is $1 million per year for five.
Re: Jay getting ready to talk Tigue
Even if you count Russo's money in hand as of today, you've only raised $2 mill additional dollars since the initial renovation was announced. Isn't that a terrible amount considering the time passed? What are they waiting on for a public campaign????
