I must be the exception to the rule. I've been several times and never had a remarkable experience. Most recent visit; the music was way too loud and my wife and I each had a shrimp pasta dish. Neither of us got more than 3-4 small shrimp.Quote:

LOL on people suggesting ANY Mexican restaraunt to visitors. Anyone who spends less than 10 days in Lafayette should not be allowed to eat Mexican. Too many good things to try.
I understand if you live there, the Mexican food options available are worth a discussion.

Last request... We ate at a pizza joint (rotolo's) last weekend and watch the games. I'm positive I can't persuade this group to eat pizza in Lafayette. I'm willing to compromise on food quality somewhat for a variety of beers on tap and TV's. If you guys don't help me out here by pointing me to THE spot, I'll end up at Prejean's. Friends don't let friends end up at Prejean's.
Walk ons on kaliste Saloom, not the best food in Lafayette, but pretty good. Being that you aren't from here you won't know that it's not the best around. Awesome place to drink and watch games and food is good enough with plenty of seafood options.Quote:
