Louisiana vs. ECU Game Attendance Predictions

A lot more people go than you seem to think. I meet people every day who attend the game annually. I would say non UL, metro New Orleans brings around five to seven thousand. A close friend of mine has a daughter and son in law who always buy tickets for thier families to the New Orleans Bowl.

Not as many New Orleans as some might believe attend the Sugar Bowl. When they first got into the BCS mix there was a big push for long term commitments to buying tickets. These people by the thousands sell their tickets to visiting teams fans, even when Ellis Who might be playing the BCS game like last year.

Anyone know the story on that big empty section of prime seats behind the ECU bench? Was that their allotment hat I'd not sell? It looked really bad with that big empty section with a few thousand ECU fans on the higher rows and the rest of the Dome a sea of red.

Hammer, I am thinking those seats are not that prime, too low. But I sure wish someone would have filled them. In any case the world on a regular basis saw a sea of red. Great move to put us on the visiting side. I would say East but it is actually the North side, LOL.

Yea, I understand the sight line problems with those seats that's why I enjoyed my seats in 308 even bough it was near the goal line. I just thought it looked really bad to see a big empty section between the 40's behind he ECU bench. Looked too much like a Toolame game.

On second thought maybe those 3,000 seats were actually occupied by 20,000 phantom toolame fans supporting their conference mates.

I think the empty area was where the cameras were going back and forth blocking fans view.

A guy from North Texas is claiming that they brought 17,000 to the New Orleans Bowl vs Cincinatti in 2002. I looked it up. Total attendance for that game was 19,024. I think he's full of it......

Attended all of the NO Bowls till Katrina and the last two. The UNT vs. Bearcat game was mostly UNT fans as Cinncy didn't really show up due to distance. Crowds have been genreally only on Plaza and center Loge areas. No game was as loud as the last two years. Not sure why? Can someone look that up?
