Would have loved to see a homecoming marketing text go out to every UL graduate on a weekly cadence a few weeks prior.

How about a partnership with local hotels and resturants? Stay and play! Bundle the hoteln breakfast voucher and game tickets. I would give up $300 - $500 for a weekend like such.
Target the areas outside of Acadiana. We probably have just as many graduates in Houston as we have in Acadiana.
Free tailgating with 10 year blocks.
....folks who graduated in the 80s would have a different music experience from those in the 2000s, while both would enjoy the experience hopping from different decades of UL. Great networking opportunities.
