Best part about this went into their backyard with all the bogus calls that went their way and still put another P4 so called power 4 I call them the privileged 4 skin on the wall.
Re: Least penalized team in America survives onslaught of penalties
Cajuns had a total of four targeting calls in the previous 86 games leading up to Saturday. In other words, it took 2,512 days (6 years, 10.5 months) to get the same amount of targeting calls as Louisiana got in 1 day.
2024: 4
2023: 1 (Courtline Flowers vs. UAB)
2022: 0
2021: 1 (Jayrin Wilson vs. Marshall)
2020: 0
2019: 1 (Camero Solomon vs. UL Monroe)
2018: 0
2017: 2 (Jeffries vs. Arkansas State; Jacques Boudreaux vs. Ole Miss)
2016: 1 (Tracy Walker vs. Southern Miss)

2014: 1 (Justin Hamilton vs. Georgia State)
2013: 1 (Chris Hill vs. Georgia State)

2 sat out the 2nd half so 2 sit for the next game first half.
The only really obvious one was the one in the endzone. That was just dumb.
The roughing the passer call at the end of the game was farcical.
Re: Least penalized team in America survives onslaught of penalties
The ACC Ref.'s tried to decide the outcome of the game on Saturday. But the Football Gods did not allow it. It was poetic justice when the football hit the left upright of the goal post and fell helplessly to the ground. "Geaux Cajuns"!

Awesome research.
Re: Least penalized team in America survives onslaught of penalties
oh, we got targeted in a big way by the officials on Saturday
on another note, we should not see anymore posts on RP about our defense being soft . . .

Don’t forget the 600k from Michigan State was part of the deal. It’s why WF got UL on the cheap. 1.4 million in 2 installments.
The MSU AD knew he couldn’t risk a FB loss to a SBC team for a rebuilding program.
