Texas State Game Time

I would've never guessed THIS game vs Texas State would be the game picked up for ESPN2 national TV. Bobcats did open a can of whooparse in Waco. Our turn to make this a premier match up this week vs the gophers......let's make it happen!!!!

Now I would think that if we beat Minnesota and Texas State beats USM as they should and both teams are 4-1 that could change that scenario.

Getting Marcus Wiser back this weekend will be nice for a defense that at times has been dominant and can always use extra depth.

Not necessarily. Sling orange which has ESPN does not give you the u or news.

When 71 first posted what he thought was the time for the Tx State game I had a feeling it was for TV. We never have that slot at home unless it's for TV. I went and look at that weeks schedule and there's not a lot of traditional marque matches that week

The TX State game gives ESPN a chance to promote a new brand in Austin and San Antonio markets. ESPN knows what it's doing. Our TV numbers (and the SBC as a whole) are pretty good when compared to other G5 and lower tiered P5.

I believe you have to pay for the U through your cable subscriber in order to access it via the ESPN app. I do pay for it and can access it on my ipad, Roku and Firestick but I believe it is only because I pay for it through LUS.

That is correct and since I don't have a cable provider, because I use Sling, I can get ESPN, ESPN2 and ESPN +, but it does not give me access to ESPN News or ESPN +

i didnt know LUS Fiber offered the U, i thought they switched it out for sec network.

speaking of, is BIG 10 network through cbs, or is it a stand alone?

. . . I believe with most packages, the U only comes with a $ add on sports package . . .

Idk what packages yall got, but youtube tv has it on base plan

. . . i am with Cox and have an add on sports package . . . it’s been so long I not sure what that adds or what comes with basic cable but I pretty much have access to most sports networks . . . Longhorn, ACC, FSI . . . all the ESPN’s . . . and so on . . .
