Lafayette town is lucky to get the support when bigger towns like Austin doesn't. I was talking about the town of Lafayette not the actual team.

We are very fortunate to be able to watch this team, made up primarily of freshmen and sophomores, grow up in front of us. Just like our children, there are good days and bad days, what we call growing pains. But to see them grow is just awesome!
GEAUX CAJUNS!

The advantages of a small market, but the conference move makers want big markets that dont cover the teams, go figure.

I know beating a Texas type team is nothing too exciting most years, but this one was pretty big. To go 0fer against ranked teams would have been rough.
Beating number 14 on the road is pretty good. But I think I know what you mean. This was a really important game for this team to win. If they eliminate the “screwy” inning, they just might become very special.

Totally. It always seems to be the one inning or a bad start that does us in. It looked like more of the same last night, but you saw the fight and the see how the team is maturing.
Yeah, the comment was that we've beaten teams ranked 14 and above each year for as long as I can remember. Softball expectations are well established and it's expected to compete with teams like that. Last night just felt huge, though.
This win meant a lot to the team and hopefully gets that proverbial monkey off their back about beating teams as good or better than they are.
Re: Cajuns vs Texas part 3
Confidence builder going forward.
Re: SB G3: Louisiana 6, Texas 5
Definitely trending in an upward direction. Still have a lot of work to do and consistency to gain.
