Disagree 100% that there aren't 120 legitimate starting QBs.

I thought I was being generous. There are way too many RB and WR playing QB in college.

He very well may be the guy but that doesn't mean he and/or Lewis aren't legitimate D1 QB's just because neither has been named the starter yet.

There are plenty of QBs that look good in practice and scrimmages. The difference is when they go up against a another teams #1s how they handle and adapt to that pressure. Can they make quick and good decisions. Which guy is a gamer and has intangibles. This will determine who our starter will be. I still feel that guy will be Lewis. If it happens to be Nunez that performs better I will be more than happy with that.

QB is one position that you can not tell who is best for the team until they are seen in live action. Practice tells you a lot but not enough in this situation.

I agree. People tend to put some much into a particular player before they've even had to perform with the lights on. Brooks Haack comes to mind as I heard some saying he was the most accurate passer outside of Jake Delhomme that we've had here.
I'm fine with whomever the coaches feel should be the starter and I think we will very likely see a good bit of both this year anyhow.
