Re: Louisiana@Florida Score Predictions
You guys are forgetting that BWK is delivering the secret formula to Hud this week. Given that I am revising my guess to:
UL (19)
Florida (-14)
I'm hoping it includes cutting their offensive linemens achilles tendons....you do that they won't be able to follow through on anything, they'll quit the game.....

The Gators season is done. No more SEC games. no shot at the SEC championships without a lot of help. UGA needs a loss against Auburn or ole miss.. The only thing left for them is bragging rights against FSU.
They already characterized us a team that'll be outmatched, undersized and unable to compete. They are already chalking the next two games, UL and an FCS opponent, in the W column.
I strongly think they may be overlooking us. FSU is a big deal for them, even though its 3 weeks out.
With all that being said... We give em hell for 3 quarters before depth becomes an issue.
UF 38
UL 27

With BWK's super secret formula for beating Florida:
Gators 54
Cajuns 24
Without BWK's super secret formula for beating Florida:
Gators 54
Cajuns 24

You would've gotten a chuckle out of me if I wasn't so depressed about something best left under a different topic. :(

Re: Louisiana@Florida Score Predictions
If the Gators defense dominates (as they do against just about any team they play, so no knock on the Cajuns), then the score difference may depend in some part on how much the Gators are willing to show on offense. Against Bowling Green, the Gators kept things very vanilla on offense and looked terrible but that was the first game. Now that FSU already has plenty of game tape on the Gators and the Gators O has struggled, unfortunately for the Cajuns the Gators may try to open things up and get some confidence back offensively. If they open it up, I think they can score over 40 on any sunbelt team because they have some serious talent and Driskell is a good QB who can run, even though their offense has been mediocre against good SEC defenses.
I hope it is a lot closer, but I am thinking 47 - 17, with Cajuns scoring some points late in garbage time. If Gators have a very vanilla offense, then score may be around 30 - 7.
I wish the Cajuns would get to play big name BCS schools during down years (like UF last year or Tennessee or Arkansas this year). Seems like other Sunbelt schools have had that good fortune this year. Arizona last year was a good opportunity. UF is a top 5 team that is looking to get confidence on offense and has a top 5 defense, similar to Alabama and LSU's defenses. Very tough matchup.

They also have a lil activity on their scout and rivals sites.
Gatorsports.com is good. Pat Dooley's columns are great and he also has a video online on that site each week. there is a fan forum on the site with a lot of comments...
Re: Louisiana@Florida Score Predictions
When I woke up this morning from my dream, Florida had just missed a FG attempt as the 3rd qtr was ending. Scoreboard showed Louisiana 7 Florida 3. I am a big football fan, but rarely have I ever had dreams about specific games. The dream I had this morning was eerily realistic so I figured I should share. I don't study dreams so I don't know what the relevance of the dream would be, if anything. It sort of got me hyped up this morning though and ready to watch a football game on Saturday. Geaux Cajuns
