I've confirmed offers to Lee and Stroud, but that is it. Dixon is due for a breakout year, but the last time I talked to him he did not have an offer. But that was about mid summer I guess.
The other names I'm not too familiar with. They must be from out of state I guess. I basically just keep up with Louisiana kids.
Is Ben Guidugli (LB) being recruited?
<blockquote><p align=justify>The top senior is linebacker/tight end Ben Guidugli, who was recently offered a scholarship at the University of Cincinnati, where brother Gino was a record-setting quarterback from 2001-04. Ben led the Bluebirds in both receptions and interceptions last year. He is the third brother to play in college, as older brother Jeff was at Southwestern Louisiana. <a href="http://www.communitypress.com/ColdSpringKY/News.asp?pageType=StoryCurrent&StoryArchiveID=16903&StoryID=5044&Section=Sports%20&%20Recreation&OnlineSection=Sports&SectionPubDa te=Thursday,%20August%2018,%202005&RefDate=6/7/2005">LINK</a>

PS one more thing. When is fallball baseball?
Well, I'm too darn old to be a recruit; but if I was my thoughts would be:
(1) Offense - wow, that looked like fun. I want to be part of this!
(2) Defense - I think I can contribute pretty darn quick.
But then again, I am an eternal optimist. :D

P.S. Rain? What rain? However, what do you guys (and gals) think of some type of field turf in the future given the propensity for foul weather in south Louisiana?
Re: Questions on recruits
Fall baseball is usually mid october.

I believe there is some brand new turf, slightly soiled, in the Superdome that we can probably pick up for a reasonable cost...........
