Our volleyball coach gets my old geriatric keister excited about women’s sports. I have to rush back home once the games are over so I don’t waste the blood flow. Don’t know how many left I have at my age.

Re: Softball Conference Tournaments of RPI Interest
That was a crazy 14 inning affair between Auburn and Georgia. Auburn gets a two out three run bomb in the top of the 14th to go up 5-2. Georgia gets a no out three-run bomb in the bottom to tie at 5-5 ... then gets a solo shot with 2 outs to win 6-5. Nothing like playing a doubleheader in your opening tournament game.

I'll have to watch the replay!
Re: Softball Conference Tournaments of RPI Interest
I'm guessing McNeese just wanted some extra wins on the resume to make themselves look good to the committee. It will be funny to see them double dip Southeastern Louisiana in the finals. McNeese won over Houston Christian tonight, 8-6.
Re: Softball Conference Tournaments of RPI Interest
Final tally of the effect on our Opponents' Record portion of our RPI after Day 2 of Conference tournaments:
Nicholls: 4 wins/2 losses
LSU: 2 wins/0 losses
JMU: 3 win/0 losses
UCA: 2 wins/0 losses
La Tech: 2 wins/0 losses
McNeese: 2 wins/2 losses
Miss St: 0 wins/2 losses
USM: 0 wins/3 losses
Total: 15 wins/9 losses
Today's Games with direct effect on our record and/or our opponents' record
Louisiana vs JMU
LSU vs Tennessee
Oklahoma vs BYU/OSU
Cal vs Stanford
Baylor vs UCF
Texas vs UCF/Baylor [Texas if UCF]
UCA vs N Florida
LaTech vs WKU
Liberty vs NMSU
Miami vs Toledo
Colorado State vs Nevada
Chattanooga vs Mercer
Troy vs CCU [either is good]
ULM vs USA
Tx St vs Marshall
Other games of interest
Missouri vs Arkansas
Georgia vs Florida [can both lose?]
UCLA vs Oregon St.
Notre Dame vs FSU
Ga Tech vs Va Tech
South Carolina vs TX A&M
Arizona vs Washington [can both lose?]
Clemon vs UVA
BYU vs Oklahoma State
Indiana vs Northwestern
Utah vs Oregon
The second group are games involving teams that either we could pass or could pass us.
This is a pivotal day for our seeding.

Made my skin crawl pulling for TSAB, but it was big because the Bama loss helped us too. Don’t know if I can do it again. Is it that big a deal if I’m a Vols fan today?

Haven’t looked at the RPI last couple of days, but I’m assuming UL just wants Arkansas to lose today.
Miss State and Alabama losing yesterday was nice. LSU winning tournament probably helps UL a little but not enough for me to pull for them!

If I am interpreting the information correctly the difference to our RPI between an LSU win and and LSU loss is .00033, but don't hold me to that. I could be off by a factor of 10.
It is a small difference, but could be significant.

We would have preferred that MSU won yesterday and today, then lose tomorrow. We definitely want Arkansas to bet Missouri; if we win and Missouri loses, we will possibly pass them up, but Arkansas will not pass us up by winning.
We also want South Carolina to beat aTm.
