I am no swing guru, but Roccaforte's swing looks very smooth. He has little head movement and clears the hips effortlessly. He does not look like he swings with effort, but the ball is hit very hard, very often. He looks like a pro baseball player to me.

Low effort, quick bat, flat path combined with elite hand eye coordination to find the barrel and ability to hit to all fields.

It is not a lot of movement when you consider the actual RPI values. There was not much separation post game.
UC-Irvine then came in with a late loss vs. Long Beach State.

Roccaforte was committed to Sam Houston at one point. I assume he followed Deggs here. He sort of reminds me of Lucroy at the plate, except for hitting lefty. Like Lucroy, he was under-rated out of high school and would star on any college team.
He could play the game for a very long time.

I think Rocco might be the most complete player we’ve had in a very long time. Hits for average, power, steals bases.

I was talking about this last night with a friend. He also has over 200 defensive chances without an error…and has played 5 different positions if you count the appearance he made on the mound.

To my knowledge, as of 10:14 EST, there has been no discussion about playing a DH today. Coach Deggs said it's Coach Smith's decision.
If no change is made, that tells me Coach Smith really doesn't want to play.
I'll be shocked, based on the current forecast, if we play tomorrow.
50% chance of rain at noon and getting worse from there.

He plays defense within himself, if that makes sense. Very high baseball IQ and does not make mental mistakes.
He has the 3rd highest defensive chances without an error in the conference.
Is his arm decent? I don't really have feel for that as he plays 1B a lot.
He is Sun Belt top 10 in HR, BA, SB, On base and a bunch more.
