Went to RCA website and he was not pictured, I don't care for Marlin anymore. Has any UL/USL coach ever loss as many players as this guy?
Re: Plaisance Transfering out
And a good joke at that. It is amazing what a few win can do for perception. If Marlin was .500 right now this transfer would be taken as a huge negative. I also had my doubts, but it looks like Marlin has the program headed in the right direction.

Have to remember, some of these guys were big fish in a little pond in high school. Basketball as a team sport is the smallest of all as far as number on the court/field at a time. Egos get crushed in college basketball more than any other sport when the self assumed big fish is suddenly fighting for playing time at the next level. Probably the hardest sport to coach with the constant juggling of egos and transfers in and out.
I'll be impressed with Marlin if he can keep 90% of the returners from the end of this season.

----Except for the very obvious, I had trouble deciding on a kid's jump from HS to college---Most of the time a kid playing in a higher classification that was first team all district was worthy of a look, or maybe the outstanding players with bodies at a lower level---I guess the travel team deal has brought a big change in Basketball and baseball as this gets inter classification match ups!!!
Re: Plaisance Transfering out
Just a point of reference here. I've always remembered this list because at the time I was impressed that we were able to sign 3 of the top 12 players in the state. I went back and looked all of these guys up and only 5 of those 12 are currently playing with the school they initially signed with for various reasons. Of course 2 of those 5 are Washington and Stove.

Great post. You hit it exactly. Limited spots and hard to sub in basketball. Matchups mean EVERYTHING.
Hopefully he will land in a spot that allows him to get the minutes he wants.
