Jeb, for the purpose of conversation what different bowl did you have in mind? I agree four bowl wins in a row is great no matter what bowl...except maybe the ULM Toilet Bowl!! BOOM, first ever ulm slam!!!

What is he saying? If we are in C-USA what bowl would you rather attend? Sounds to me like he is suggesting that C-USA offers no better opportunity then the New Orleans Bowl. I would agree with his suggestion should UL be assured of the New Orleans Bowl every year if we are bowl eligible, we are not. Again, my point is the New Orleans Bowl doesn't supersede the overall importance of conference affiliation for this program. But we are not assured of the New Orleans Bowl in years were they have to take conference champion.

Any other bowl they could have been considered for or not. If the NOLA bowl was the only option, then you go with a smile. If the Cajuns are considered for another bowl that brings more money, better competition, possibly a chance against a P5 school, etc., then why wouldn't that be OK?

I read into it as we need to enjoy what we have now because when we do move to cusa, the bowls available arent as convenient for the fanbase.

That depends upon you believing our leadership is doing everything they can to push for a C-USA membership. I've heard nothing recently to suggest they are at this time.

Getting to CUSA then matched up to play a Sunbelt school in New Orleans Bowl would suck. Time to embrace change for the better long term opportunities it presents to grow the program.

Fair enough, maybe more fans would want a change of pace and go to Mobile or Montgomery instead. I think if we sold 30,000 tickets in either of those places would be phenomenal while the same number sold in New Orleans was our worst yet.

Agree that any opportunity to play P5 is worth it, no matter where.

Your point about another bowl bringing in more money I find invalid since we'd have to share it with our conference anyway, so what's the point? Hey with that attitude, maybe we should go to another bowl and let our slacker mates pick up the tab for our travel!
