That's nice for you. For me this university made me a promise that they would make Mark Hudspeth the highest paid coach in the SBC THIS SEASON. I am now holding this university to that promise. I would like some verification that the university has taken cared of that promise to me. I'm glad for you that things like that don't matter. They DO matter to me though. I'm pretty sure I'm not the only one they matter to either. I am speakig up for maybe a few thousand other folks who it may matter to also.

Well if it matters to you and a few thousand others that is your choice but the majority on here are Cajun fans and always have been. So to us it is just another day. But rest assured Hud will be the Coach next year than when he leaves you and the other thousand folks can find another team to support. But for me I am a Cajun fan always have been and always will be win or loose that is just me.

BK let me explain something to you.
Your 1 yr support of cajun football DOES NOT entitle you to be informed of the details of a private salary negotiation that is still ongoing.
The university HAS NOT wronged you by not disclosing the details of their private negotiation to YOU.
Your donations and season ticket purchases don't make any realistic difference to the success or failure of this football program, although I'm sure they are appreciated.
If you truly have an issue with how things are done at UL you should stop complaining to Internet message boards and instead lodge a complaint to UL.

You are obviously missing my point. I percieve you are missing it on purpose. The point is not whether HUD goes at the end of the year or not. The point is whether the university did all it could to keep him & thereby keep the new fan base here. If the HUD leaves saying how much he has loved his experience here & that the school kept every promise to him they made, then that's a sure fire signal to me the school is going to have success replacing him whenever that time comes. The silence is deafening to me right about now. I'm not into singing Ole Angzign. I'm into supporting a quality program that is doing all the things to promote growth & competitiveness. This isn't about comparing quality of character of the fan base. This is about making a good business decision plain & simple. You can throw money down the school wishing well if you want. I choose to hold those responsible for the well keeping of my investment accountable.

I asked a question. I recieved no answer. I explained my position. If that is complaining then I'm guilty as charged. If you don't like the thread don't comment. You haven't said anything in this thread yet except to howl about how loyal you are & how disloyal I am. Once again, there are people on this message board who would do well not to go into sales.

No I am not missing the point I understand what you are saying. All I am saying is I am a Cajun fan have been since the late seventies and will continue to be untill my last days on this earth. You have a right to be the type of fan you are and I have the right to be the type of fan I am. I am loyal no matter what you choose to support or not to on weather they keep there promise to Hud. That is all good to each his own. Just to let you know how I am I was a Saints fan from day on and look it finally got me a Champion and you know what no matter who coaches my Cajuns they to will be Champions one day because of fans like me.

So does this mean you have no link to post real, recent, or pertinent information concerning the state of negotiations between Hudspeth & the school? I am going to assume that is what you are saying because I haven't heard anything to the contrary yet. I'm sure there are many on here who appreciate your never ending blind loyalty, but once again, I was hoping for news based on facts that there is a deal. That is all I was really searching for. I wasn't really doing a fan loyalty... contest......thing.
