Re: Football Staff specULation
Who do you think would fill out the rest of the staff? In analyst and Quality Control &GA role?

Most if not all of those positions will be filled by young coaches looking to get into college coaching.
Coaching convention in a few weeks will be where a lot of these holes end up getting filled.

I don’t think Faulk will be hired at all here. According to the “little birdie”.

CBN leaned on viators head coaching experience very much. It is my understanding he was the first person CBN would talk to after every practice. His head coaching success and experience will be great to have around for young CMD.

I am hearing the hang up is his wife doesn't want him on the road recruiting all the time. If he would have been retained he would be doing that anyway, but for way more money. I also heard even if he wasn't retained he may not have returned to LSU. I hope we can land him. If we don't I don't like the direction we may go to fill that position.

Yeah I really don't like the idea of promoting analyst. I would have assumed we would have tons of external candidates

I wouldn't be surprised either way, the other choice was a GA that has been involved with recruiting for a while. Either way, I'm good with Desormeaux's decision.

T, surely we had a ton of external candidates apply. Do we just have better guys already on staff?
