Is there anything on the back of the shirt? I think the "Paint the Quarter Red" logo from the bowl bash would be awesome!!

I assume that my status as an RCAF member will do me no good whatsoever now that general admission seats have gone on sale. I wasn't able to put down a deposit earlier Am I correct in that assumption?
New Orleans Bowl will host a free concert the Friday night before at Spanish Plaza near the river down on Poydras.
Wow, it's been a while since I've posted on this board, although I do read and follow every week to catch up on news and notes from all of you guys. Thankfully this one hasn't been like the past few years I've had to fish for good info and excitement from our Cajuns.
Anyways, allow me to get to the point. I'm a UL Alumni who now resides in New Orleans and works in the nightlife/ bar scene down here in the Warehouse District/downtown area. We are currently in the process of planning some NO Bowl parties catered specifically to Ragin Cajuns fans to celebrate this one of a lifetime occasion.
I'm simply starting this thread to get some feedback about how many people are planning on actually coming down for the weekend of the game, which days you'd plan to arrive, what kind of entertainment/scene, etc... that you guys would like to see in regards to any Ragin' Cajun parties and/or tailgates. I'm working with many different venues in order to set up things for different days such as Generations Hall, The Metropolitan, The Bricks, Red Eye, etc...
We have many things in mind that we will try to pull of already, but I'm simply trying to get some feedback from the actual diehard fan base. Currently, I'm trying to arrange something for Friday evening in the Warehouse Dist that would include a small cover charge which would get you a Red Band and lock in cheap drink specials all night long. I'm also looking to set up a "pregame" party at a bar near the dome which would provide for a one for all bracelet that includes cover, draft beer/wells, and also catered food for the afternoon leading up to the game, and finally the main party would be a UL Victory party where ticket stubs could be brought for incentives, live entertainment, tons of drink specials, and possibly food as well.
We have a good bit of time to make sure that this weekend will be one that won't ever be forgotten. This is truly one of the proudest moments in our school's history and certainly the greatest moment of our athletic program since our baseball team made it to Omaha. I can ensure you that no matter what the response, there will be UL exclusive events being put on that weekend and you will see advertisements all over FB and if I'm allowed to, posted here. I am simply looking for ideas of what you would like to be offered, would like to see, or would be interested in checking out should these suggestions be provided for. Whether drink specials, recommended cover that you wouldn't mind paying, certain entertainment.. etc.
I look forward to hopefully hearing back from some of you regulars, and especially look forward to being in the dome come Decemeber 17th!
Best,
COC - Class of '06
We are attending a large party at Walk-Ons being put on from 3-7

The Ragin’ Cajuns Athletics Department announced Wednesday that over 11,000 tickets have already been sold for the football team’s upcoming appearance in the New Orleans Bowl.
Thursday afternoon, will be at Walk Ons Poydras for the Hud show that evening. Will be crashing at the Astor Crown Plaza too.
This bowl game is about to end its run as a blip on your economic radar screen. You went to UL so you know what is about to happen. 25,000+ Cajuns equals about 65,000 regular people. Like the recipes say, "feeds 25 people or 10 Cajuns.". Win or lose, we are taking to the streets to celebrate this season.
It would be cool to organize a party at the rock n bowl.
With all the bars in NoLa. It seems silly to go to Walk Ons. But I'll go anywhere.
United Blood Services will be giving away paint the quarter red Tshirts with this design to all blood donors who donate blood from Dec 5th - Dec 18th at the Blood center on Bertrand or any of the mobile blood drives during that time. Come in and help save a life and support the Ragin Cajuns on their way to a New Orleans Bowl victory.
Bringing all my children, youngest is 13. Coming down Friday and staying at the Hilton, would love some family type parties.
I was told last night by someone in athletics they are at around the $5000.00 RCAF donor range with thier calls. So if you have donated less, then you are still waiting. They also said it was over 11k sold already, which of course is out there now. Looking good so far, keep it going!!
They finally put the whole thing online. Enjoy.
