I think he won the job because he was passing for 300 yards and a few TDs per game, and we were winning.

Vic is right when it came to the on-field support for the sTm/Madison Prep game. Madison Prep had much more talent on the field. That Fall of ‘21 team overachieved big time at sTm!

Now, was Zeon the better QB that night? Quite possibly so. I wasn’t at the game to confirm.

Right, agree, but the speculation was that he didn't have the arm talent CF had, and that was proven wrong, IMO. My point was focused on my opinion that we needed a QB that could use his feet to maintain drives etc. and BW was better in that regard.

Reading through this argument kind of reminds of back in the day the discussions as to who was better Jake or Jamie. Jamie had all the accolades and big offer out of high school. Jake only had the Cajuns and Duke if I recall correctly.

We ALL saw how that turned out. One was a Super Bowl QB.

I guess time will tell.

I figured before this was all over we would have Zeon in the NFL, I didn’t realize it would be in the Super Bowl. I have now about read it all.

Same idiot argument on Hap Glaudi on Tommy Hodson > Brian Mitchell. Hap nearly choked when our boy said it was the opposite.

Hodson a great quarterback with all the supporting cast, Brian Mitchell dual threat setting records others would chase.

LL2 can't throw farther than WH. And he isn't as accurate as the other UL QB's. Who cares if he has the strongest arm at UL.
