It’s possible any year. LSU lost to Texas a@m last year. Which app beat and app went on to be an average SBC team. It Happens every year. LSU looks to be really good this year and we are a question mark. Maybe not the best year to have a shot at a win. But all programs have their ups and downs.

If Martin Hall felt cozy in the SBC before its current state, I doubt our admin is even putting AAC feelers out there in the SBC's current state. Not sure you leave a rising conference where you have some sort of influence to a revolving door conference where we would be newcomers.

I would prefer to stay in the SBC, but if for whatever reason an invite to the AAC was extended and we accepted, that would sever ULM from our hip. Would also probably get La Tech their invite to the SBC.

Its cheap to get the team to BR, I'd like to see them play every 4 years, with every 16th year (on average) being at The Real Swamp.

I don’t want lsu playing here. Just to prove how many more lsu fans live in Lafayette. So much purple and puke in the swamp. It would be the ugliest Cajun field could possibly look.

Those may be hidden costs but Louisiana needs to do everthing it can to move in the direction of playing 3 or 4 P5 schools a year.

Break the ice and Louisiana becomes more attractive to other schools.
