HOW SO? ARE YOU IN ROBES HEAD TO DETERMINE WHAT HE WANTS OR DOES NOT WANT. IT PROVES NOTHING.
It proves he’s good with an offense that doesn’t support his pitching staff.
HOW SO. AGAIN ARE YOU IN ROBE's HEAD TO DERERMINE WHAT HE IS OR IS NOT GOOD WITH. IT PROVES NOTHING.
It proves he’s good with missing the postseason the last 2 seasons because of the bad offense.
HOW SO. AGAIN, I GUESS YOU ARE IN HIS HEAD TO DETERMINE WHAT HE IS GOOD WITH OR NOT. IT PROVES NOTHING.
If he brings back JT, what does that tell YOU?
THAT HE BELIEVES HE CAN RIGHT THE SHIP WITH ADJUSTMENTS OTHER THAN THE FIRING OF JT. THAT IT PROVES.
I now ask the question again, if Robe does not fire JT as you are demanding, then what?
Re: Baseball Coach or Life Coach
I don't think anyone wants to "fire Robe." I think it's more of the fans wanting to get a higher ROI with a sense of accountability with the people in charge.
When season tickets are purchased, more donations are made, and a new stadium is built; the expectations automatically increase; especially when we were succeeding (making and hosting Regionals/Super Regionals while being ranked in the top 25 while playing in a run down stadium) before our palace came along. Let's face it. We all know the issue. We all know the elephant in the room. Actually, not only is the elephant in the room, it is also blowing its trunk and making noise while being in the room. And this is where the problem lies.
I know there's a lot of loyalty to Robe within the fan base. Heck, count me in as one of them. He's a great coach and a great guy. But ANY job requires responsibility and accountability. If something goes wrong, there's a small amount of time to correct the mistake. Robe has that opportunity right now whatever it may be. He has earned that right. But fan loyalty only goes so far. At the end of the day, it's about the wins and losses. If we aren't winning enough in the future when corrections that can be made are limited, don't get upset when some fans come out and say some things that might make you uncomfortable.
It's like Hyman Roth said on the Godfather Part II, "This is the business that we have chosen."

Thanks for avoiding my question to you.
I gave you a very specific answer that apparently you either did not read or did not like.
P.S: so I guess you have made up your mind that NOTHING Robe decides to do other than fire JT to right the ship will be acceptable to you?

Great ending point for this thread.
Re: Baseball Coach or Life Coach
Robe quote from new Buckley article:
"According to Tony Robichaux, who was asked through a spokesman if any coaching staff changes are planned, the UL head coach finished with player exit interviews earlier this week and will take some time to evaluate the program and make changes if needed."
I'm just saying that changes are coming. This is the nice way to say they are to the media. Just because you haven't heard anything yet, does not mean it isn't coming.

No? Then tell me what "being held accountable" means? if he does not live up to a certain standard... whose standard?.... then what? To me being held accountable means if you don't live up to that "standard" you are fired....
So don't tell me people are not calling for him to be fired... Then the question is what is the standard? Regionals every year? That won't make some people happy.... Super Regionals every year? someone will find fault...
Each of us has a choice.... If he has not lived up to YOUR standard of accountability and Maggart does not fire him, by all means take that disposable income and spend it elsewhere...
I love Cajun baseball.... I love the atmosphere... I love sitting at the Tigue in mostly mild weather eating Mr. Vic's peanuts.... I love singing Put Me In Coach... There is nothing that would cause me to not show up. But that is MY choice... Coach Robe has created that atmosphere and for ME his job is his as long as he wants it.... Again not for everyone so when you reach your personal limit then as said go elsewhere.
I guess for some I am part of the problem

Nope I quoted YOU... And yes you DID state Alabama football reloads every year and we didn't... And so my comment, "REALLY, you are comparing us to Alabama football" stands
