I appreciate all of the kind words on the blog. I'm pained that I overlooked Blackjack, as well as Big Lynn and Lyle Williams.
God knows they've been a huge part of this.

With thousands of calls to be made, sit back and take a deep breath.
RCAF members will be called first, based on their level of participation. Then season ticket holders, then students, then the general public.
And, there's a good chance there won't be a lot of calls made over the Thanksgiving holiday.
You won't be forgotten.

Sorry, but I gotta complain on this. The Cajuns should have their lettering bigger & the New Orleans Bowl lettering needs to be twice as BIG. I hope they can make some with way BIGGER LETTERING FOR US OLD FOLKS.
EDIT: THE NEW ORLEANS BOWL LOGO NEEDS TO BE FIVE TIMES AS BIG.

I was thinking of making some shirts since we have alot of family members going. I know there are restrictions on what i could use and it be legal without me getting my butt chewed out but I was thinking the interlocking UL followed by a fleur de lis sort of like a heart followed by N.O..The idea is sort of like the I <3 NY shirts. I am going to put together a design and see what it would look like i'm not exactly sure where i could bring it to get it done but I guess if enough people wanted these we could find a way to get them made.
I'm interested. I want to get "official" bowl shirts & hats, but right now I aint buying cause they aint sellin something I like. The only reason I knew the team had on New Orleans Bowl tee shirts the other night was I went to the trailer before the rally took place. I went up to the trailer & asked where the New Orleans Bowl stuff was. I was shocked when they told me I was looking at it. I didn't want to bring this up, but I got a butt load of stuff last year at the Cotton Bowl & you can READ & I mean READ what bowl it was from like 50' feet away. I don't know about yous guys, but I'm NOT ashamed of this bowl game. Henceforth, I want it to be known which bowl it is. That gear has me feeling like I belong to Thirtieth Baptist Church.Quote:

Just a point of clarification: the Cotton Bowl is NOT a BCS bowl. Little to no chance of Houston going there, since, if it does not qualify for a BCS bowl (only Sugar and Fiesta or possible), it would be contractually obligated to one of the Conference USA tie-ins.
I fear their passing attack. I think we'll have to stick with them offensively because IDK if our defense will be able to contain them. I hope I'm wrong though

WKU's football team is getting punished for not getting the NO Bowl bid because their basketball team certainly does not know where Lafayette, LA is located. You see the Hilltoppers have only come to the Cajundome only one time in the past few.
You, WKU fans, should not be crying now that the Cajuns have a chance to bask in the sun.
OSU put a buch of quick points on them in the first half, and hung on for a win. No doubt they can score, we had better be ready to slow them and also score.
They have a win under their belt, and they want to make a positive impression on the incoming 2012 coach. So do not expect a team ready to mail it in.
