Absolutely not. He hasn't even been a sole coordinator. I doubt any FCS school would have considered him for head coach.

My understanding of all the DEZ pay talk is, yes we paid him Sunbelt average for an average sunbelt experience but others wanted a higher caliber coach and willing to pay a higher salary since Admin was willing to up Napiers pay. That is my cliff notes understanding.
