Early recovery pitching does not equal "return" of "stud" pitcher.
Robe didn't lose what he wasn't going to get.
Other than that non factor, Robichaux has done an amazing job this year.

Basketball isn’t successful. When’s the last NCAA appearance? When’s the last NCAA tournament victory. Basketball is skating on thin ice.

There’s a separate thread about the perception of our athletic program. In it, ULVictory identifies a reasonable expectations for baseball as regional appearances every other year. Even Metry, a self identified LSU football fan and casual fan of other UL sports, agrees with ULVictory’s expectations. Right now, the baseball program isn’t meeting that expectation. There’s a chance to correct it. But does Robe make the tough decision about JT or does he bring him back again? The silence is deafening right now. And prior history says JT leaves baseball before he’s not brought back as hitting coach.
The most successful football coach we ever had was run out of town making a bowl game in 5 of his 7 years. Why was he run out? He wasn’t meeting the expectations of the fan base the 3 years. We wanted more than to be a 4th place Sun Belt football team. Right now, I’m feeling the same about UL baseball. I’m wanting to be more than a 5th place Sun belt baseball team with the resources being placed into the program.
Absolute great apples-to-apples comparison...on one hand HUD who got a new _____hole ripped every time he stepped on the field against P5s...versus a guy who at 1 point got our program equivalent to Alabama Football from a rankings standpoint, but in baseball...

Well the turning point for Hud's career here was when he was up on, but got super conservative against that P5 Florida team.

That’s cute...comparing a coach whose signature game was a LOSS...versus a coach who has set the bar to having a pizzed off fanbase if not in the Top 25...

Yes, we’re waiting on the next time too damed long. Not successful, just not awful either.

I should remind that we would have been in the tournament as an at large last year except for a scheduling mistake on one weekend series. JMO

I didn't compare anything, to anyone.
Just replying to "every time."
