Re: Conference realignment again????
Cajuns and Tigers were scheduled to play in 2014. But then that Wisconsin game in Houston was offered, and the Tigers took the money and the game (don’t blame them one bit). Since then, there’s been no talks.

What was their cancellation fee to us, if any?

I am alone on this but I would play LSU three times for free for one return.
LSU has a lot to lose monotarily but three home games with no payout is a better deal than they get in conference where its home and home.

To be fair he, may be correct in their thinking but the only source on this was a podcaster who interviewed RaginReview.com

You can bet your bottom dollar the thought of the NCAA football ticker showing Louisiana and LSU, regardless of score, weighs on the feeble minded leadership in Baton Rouge.

Tell that to Troy, and ULM when they played Alabama.
That type of thinking is the reason Louisiana has never beat LSU in football.
Down year/up year does amazing things on the field.
You just need to open the door when opportunity knocks.

We cant get our foot in the door. I will never step foot in TSAB football stadium unless they are playing the Cajuns.

Doesn’t matter. Football drives the bus at both universities. As much effort their minions put in calling different medias trying to “at Lafayette”, Louisiana has never been connected to LSU football like it would be in a box score today.
They can claim all they want “don’t care”, the Louisiana emblem says they do.
