Did Kostner's character reload that six shooter during the shootout or was he able to again fire it at least a dozen times without a reload?

They ran out of ammo and reloaded several times. He had more than one firearm too..

:) Right.

It is a good movie, one of my favorite westerns. I just thought they could have done a better job with that one scene to make it more realistic.

Well, they did score, but OU decides to give their kicker a record instead of trying to score the touchdown they needed.
