However, to build a program, you need to start by winning conference. Losing in the first round of the NCAA tourney does very little to build your program. It's also a much more significant accomplishment. being the best team in your conference over an 18 game or 20 game schedule is much more difficult than winning 3 games in the tourney. That mindset that the NCAA is our only goal is a joke and I think the current staff and AD are starting to look at winning conference outright much more seriously now.

It would mean we won our conference out right and we are building something. There are teams that make the NCAA with losing records and that will happen again this year more than likely. Getting your ticket to the big dance doesn't actually always show the accomplishments of the regular season. To me its kind of like going to a bowl game with 6 wins.
I agree with both of these posts.

Hopefully ME, a fan who had season tickets for years, will be able to make his first game after the first of the year!

They basically make a full lineup/6th man if they would have all gone to the same school. Would be fun for that type of thing to one day happen at UL.
According to 247/Scout, the order is:
1. Smart
2. Butler
3. Leblanc
4. Williams
5. Julien
6. Gladney
Heck, here is hoping that we get both Julien and Gladney and the kid from California(dad played at UL).

Cajuns Men's RPI after a little help last night moved up to 95. Again, the Cajun opponents held up their end of the bargain, all but Tech, losing again.

Richmond
