Do you have any idea how much the people who buy suites have to donate in order to buy the suite? So, you are saying if you paid all that money but only get 1/2 of the amenities you paid for, for several of the games you’d be OK with that?
You talk really big with other peoples money. You also have a F the fans who support the program kind of attitude with that response.
FYI an RCAF employee and an assistant coach of many years both agreed with me 100%, when we discussed this subject during yesterdays game. But those 2 obviously understand who the customer is in this situation and how important it is to give the customer what they paid for.
Why do they put large TVs and living room style furniture in the suite, if it isn’t designed for the customer to sit and watch the game streaming, if that is how they choose to view it? At least that is how they sell the living space and TV to you when trying encourage you to buy the suite.
Baseball translates very well to radio. Maybe due to the pace of the game.
Title 9 was passed in 1972, not following it for 25 years didnt seem to be an issue for SEC since softball didnt start until 1997. Where was their penalty for the 25 years of violations? I doubt seriously video is part of it. Although i would prefer to watch softball over baseball when the cajuns are involved.
"There is a waiver for everything...., when you are a P4"- signed ncaa and dept of ED
I can’t believe it has to be said. A D1 program that can’t stream all of its baseball games in 2024 is ____ing ridiculous. Especially when it’s one of the most popular sports at the university.
Did anyone else noticed, but my ESPN app, did not report some of the scores that were played in softball these past two weekends, except for games against Texas and Ole Miss. Was looking for the scores and it had a list of all the ncaa softball games played nationally, but like Longwood vs UL was not reported. Wondering if its just how I have it configured on my phone?

"Schools can lose federal funds for violating Title ix. Although most institutions are not in compliance with Title IX, no institution has actually lost any federal money"
Ironically if the penalty for athletics violating title 9 is losing federal funding, wouldnt that take away money from academics side of the house. And athletics would be unscathed, #ooops. And we now ncaa woyldnt raise a finger unless it were a g5
Maybe this has already been discussed and if so I apologize. I know where Jay stands when it comes to this. Having said that I distinctly remember last year there was a game not being streamed yet had cameras set up and video in the club. Sunday I didn’t see any of the regular cameras. Hell I didn’t see any cameras at all. How do they conduct replay with no tv cameras? Other question is why can’t they just put the radio stream over the video feed when cameras are running inside the stadium since it costs extra to bring in a commentary crew? I don’t feel like these are unfair questions. Maybe I’m wrong.
