Should we be pulling for Coastal (to get a bid) or USM (to get into the RPI Top 25 which would make our games vs. them Q1)... Not that it really matters since we don't really have a chance to host.
There have been some fantastic pitching performances to start off the tournament.
Rare for SBC tournament.....We may actually start on time or close to schedule

I can’t stand that whistler. I’m pulling for App State to lose, even though I don’t care for Covid Carolina.
If Coastal loses this game, I don’t care what their RPI is, they are NOT a regional team in my opinion.
They’ll be 34-23 (10-14 outside of their home park), finished in 7th place in the SBC, and will have gone 0-2 in the double elimination portion of the conference tourney.
That doesn’t sound like an at large resume to me at all.

That was an exciting finish to Southern Miss and App State. Expected nothing less from App State, challenging USM in the B9th (bases loaded). They are scrappy. Southern Miss wins 7-5.
