There were 2 AST players who were moving before the ball was kicked. I thought the rule was players couldn't get a head start before the ball was is kicked. Could that have been why it was called ? I don't know.

The facts say otherwise.

Regular season = coaches, all the players
Bowl season = coaching staff depleted, players opting out, and transfer portal

It’s like comparing apples to oranges. Both fruit and little else in common.

Its getting to the point where bowl games almost have more in common with a preseason , game for next year than they do as a culmination of the past year.

So South Alabama drills Eastern Michigan by 49. So EMU #9 thought a post game fight was a good idea.

For the non power conferences, bowls are about three things…practice, winning and publicity. EMU is the hands down winner this year in the publicity column. Bad publicity is better than no publicity. They’re in every news feed. Yes, South Al is mentioned but they’re lost in the story.

I don’t subscribe to that bad publicity is better than no publicity crap. Actions are the true defining factor in my life.

TXST / Rice is a good one so far.
