Cowboy Mouth would be great.

Why don’t we just ask Chris Stapleton to come down a week early?

Get Travis Matte to play Tiger Tailgate Party and all the Lafayette TSAB fans might show up.

It’s never boring for me. The Natty Lights keep me occupied during the down time commercials and timeouts.
It’s always exciting when the football team is playing.

Football is never boring.
You either love the play that just happened or your discussing the play that should have happened.
-
Re: How to pack Cajun Field against Texas State?
. . . discussing or cussing . . .

But but but it is squirrel season. Free box of shot gun shells for everyone? Just kidding can't do that.
Present a hunter's license and get in free or for $5?

Yes. If you want to lean on the football itself as the only draw, then you can confidently expect 12-15k single men and dad's who got out the house for an afternoon

I swear, everytime I hear someone say "it's too loud at the games", I wanna put em through a @$!#% fishtank! If you want quiet, go to the library! You're at a college football game ffs!!

It's simple, a smaller percentage of the population understand the nuances of the game today, than just a few years ago.
If they understood they would find the game much more entertaining, beyond what was on the score board.
That does not mean anyone should like losing.

UL games are loud in the wrong way.. When the PA system and between-play music drown out the TV commentators, you've got an issue.
When the commentators get caught on a hot mic saying "Jesus they have to turn that music down", you've got an issue.

Re: How to pack Cajun Field against Texas State?
It's not the play on the field that's boring....it's everything else they shove on you...season after season.... improvements? Of any consequence?

How to pack Cajun Field:
Somehow convince Lafayette that LSU is playing a home game at Cajun Field. They'll be wearing purple and gold, but at least we would sell 50k+ tickets!!
-
Re: How to pack Cajun Field against Texas State?
The new stadium will see a boost in attendance because Lafayette always likes to see new stuff. The question if rather or not you will keep them coming back will depend on their new stadium experience.
The current situation is old and stale and people have been there and done that. Next year the west side will be demolished and will be miserable. We won’t see fan improvement until 2025 at best.

Re: How to pack Cajun Field against Texas State?
LSU is playing at 11am, on the road, in a game that most casual "fans' don't care about..
If there was EVER a game for UL to be all-out blitzing Lafayette with an effort to get out to Cajun Field, this would be it.
Unfortunately they'll likely save all their promotions -- pricing and otherwise -- for Southern Miss, and we'll still get 18k fans because most of the city is at soccer/dance practice on a Thursday night.

Re: How to pack Cajun Field against Texas State?
They could pick up the superdome and bring it to Lafayette. If the university doesn’t fix the foundational problems it has with its support structure, it won’t matter after six months. Just look at basketball.

This^^^^.
The powers realized this last MBB season and cut the volume back. Seems they can’t figure it out at CF. Loud and jet engine loud are two different things.

Win against Minnesota and get our R1 status having university to fix our technical problems like ticket scanners and video board and audio.

Those aren't technical problems, they're people problems...and the ticket scanners are cheap and useless...same with the internet access...its that this school can't afford what it needs...good, smart, competant game day personel along with scanners and internet that works...its a money issue!
