Don't think that guy was right on Harper. Only thing he had wrong with him was a sore hamstring. Expect to see a lot of him tonight.

Really looking forward to start of season and seeing the new additions. Saw many games with Wayne Julien and Dion Brown and hoping their sons bring success and dare we say it an NCAA tournament bid for UL (like to think big). Bummer that Julien will miss opener, hope he feels better soon. We need you Kobe!

I just listened to the Bob Marlin podcast and he was unsure at this point who he was going to start tonight. I have not seen any of these new players play. So, my opinion was 100% swayed from what I found on that link. Rather than me type that out again, I pointed the poster to a very well written link. I hope that helps you, my young lad.

I'd also like to see that but that's not how the game is played these days. Even my elementary team last night shot a ton of 3s. Just how it worked with the other team trying to trap us and just leaving their big men down low. Either pick & roll with one open at the top or another one open in the corner. We beat them so bad that they quit adding to our score on the scoreboard.

Yep, the game has changed and your guys were likely shooting open shots. That's the problem. We feel that shooting the 3 is the better shot even if its covered and contested rather than working for an open 12 footer. It's also why we don't shoot it very well because they are often contested.
