We got a lot brewing there. Starting to makeme wonder. With our soft defensive scheme and turnover of coaches every year.....there has to be a problem at the top.
I may be wrong, but our boy may be a control freak and will not let his coaches coach.
As for Edwards, I would be willing to bet its a recruiting violation.
Halfway through the season everyone wanted Willis' head. Now - he is the only d-coach we have left.

I think it is just pretty simple, 1) First coach leaves because of undisclosed personal reasons, 2) Rebowe leaves to be Head Coach at Nichols, 3) Another assistant sees opportunity to move up by also going to Nichols under Rebowe 4) Ex Texas Tech is moving on for Much more money Edwards kid leaving due to his uncle, probably why he came to UL in the first place. Edwards was let go, the others made moves on their own sounds like.
We had the highest paid assistants in the Belt, I think we will do just fine attracting what Coach Hud and Willis need to strengthen our Defense! Don't panic gents Louisiana will be better off in long run, with the best money in the belt and the new construction taking place, new assistants may bring players they were recruiting, and we may retain or lose some of those recruits our old assistants were on, who knows!
