It seems like Robe has given up on the national seed.
No reason to manage bullpen that way if he thought there was a chance at a national seed.
obviously just trying to get some bullpen guys some work in a tight spot.

That's absolutely ridiculous, but that's what we've been doing all weekend. This one hurts for sure, especially with a 3 run lead in the 9th.

Bullpen has been struggling for a couple of weeks. That said, our offense should score more than 4 against a Sun Belt Sunday starter. Not a good performance today. But it's hard to argue with 36-5.
Seems like Robe is more concerned with working his bullpen than the national seed. Either way, the bullpen has just about taken the national seed out of the equation between the uno game and today. The hitters seemed to be going through the motions today too so it can't ALL be pinned on the bullpen.Quote:
